Chairman of the Board
Martin Hansson represents the major shareholder Galjaden AB. Martin Hansson is the CEO of the Galjaden Group as well as a board member of Capcito. He graduated from Stockholm University with a degree in finance and business administration.

Board and CEO
Anders Nilsson worked for 13 years within the Glencore Group — 10 years in trading and three years as CEO of Kubal, an aluminum smelter in Sweden. Over the past 20 years, he has managed forest investments and worked with financial engineering in his own companies. In the spring of 2014, Anders Nilsson sold one of his property portfolios to Latvian Forest Company AB. Anders has significant experience in building up and managing forest holdings in both Latvia and Sweden.

Fredrik Brandhorst-Satzkorn holds a Master of Forestry degree from SLU (Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences). He graduated from Warwick Business School in the UK with a degree in business administration. He has 35 years of experience in the timber raw material and heavy machinery industries in the Baltics, as well as in Russia, Poland, and Belarus.

Åsa Hansdotter has been a partner at HWF Advokater since 2018. Prior to that, she was a partner at Mannheimer Swartling in Sweden and Russia. She holds a law degree from Lund University.

Aleksandrs Tralmaks has been the CEO of Latvian Forest Company since 2016. Under Aleksandrs’ leadership, the company completed the sale of 10,000 hectares to SCA in 2019. Since then, the company has acquired 8,000 hectares in Latvia and Lithuania. He has previously worked at the Swedish Trade Council. Aleksandrs Tralmaks has held senior positions as CEO and board member of Latvia’s largest daily newspaper, owned by Bonnier, and later became a partner with Catella in the Baltics. He was involved in the sale of Latvia’s largest sawmill, as well as several large forest property portfolios.

Christer Eriksson from Crowe Osborne AB was appointed as the new principal auditor of Latvian Forest Company AB (publ) at the extraordinary general meeting on 20 January 2025.
