Lithuanian forest company, UAB is implementing project No. 02MV-RP-25-1-02755-PR001 under the intervention measure “Afforestation and Forest Restoration” of the Lithuanian Agricultural and Rural Development Strategic Plan for 2023–2027.
Lithuanian forest company, UAB, in accordance with the submitted project, will plant 5.96 hectares of new forest.
- The project contributes to the objectives of the Common Agricultural Policy by helping mitigate and adapt to climate change, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, increasing carbon sequestration, and promoting sustainable energy development;
- The project will contribute to meeting the national agricultural and rural development need to increase greenhouse gas absorption by promoting afforestation.
